Entry Requirements

Any candidate who passed the Plus Two from Kerala Higher Secondary Examination Board or Pre-Degree of M G University, Kottayam or that of any other recognized University or Examination Board in any State, recognised as equivalent to the Plus Two, Kerala Higher Secondary Examination Board with not less than 40% marks in aggregate is eligible for the admission. However, SC/ST, OBC and other eligible communities shall be given relaxation as per the M G University Rules and Guidelines.

Program Structure

The duration of B.Com (Computer Applications) program is three academic years with six semesters. Total number of courses for the whole B.Com program is 26. It is divided into four courses namely:

  1. Common Courses
  2. Complementary Courses
  3. Core Courses
  4. Optional Courses and
  5. Open courses

  3. Research skills including the retrieval of information from variety of commerce, business, and economic sources.
  4. Skills in the use of ICT in commerce, business and management through practical assignments, exercises and demonstration.
  5. Ability to analyze commerce and business issues in the domestic and international contexts.
