Department of Physics celebrated the National Science Day 2023by organizing a public outreach event “Akasavismayam- Night SkywatchProgramme” on 25th February 2023, 4-9 pm at M.D.C.M.S. High School Ground, Erumapramattom, in association with AASTRO Kerala (Kottayam Chapter). A giant Newtonian telescope was used to view Jupiter, Moon and Venus in the night sky. The event was a grand success with participation of almost 250 members.
